Ok. I'll bite and be the cynic: If you believe every new-born is a little miracle, think about that child's future and the child's child and don't add to the landfill by purchasing/using pampers...
Wait, there's more (cynicism): IVF? ... while there are children dying of starvation in the world every second?

I have placed a link going to "AD CHICK" on my two blogs. I have placed the link on the front page along the left side. I would like to use an image of your blog logo as the link button, unfortunately, I'm not able to download your image. I had to use a text link. If you wouldn't mind for me to use the logo, could you email the image to me? Of course, that all depends on if you agree that my blogs would compliment your blog. If possible, I would appreciate it if you could exchange links with my two blogs. I have already placed links on my two sites.

The url where your link is located:

SENTIMENTAL JOURNEYS (pop culture memories from 1940 - 2010)
http://www.sentimental-journeys.com

I SAW AN EYESORE BILLBOARD (my musings on my love/hate feelings over billboards - love the ads, and hate the blighted landscape) http://isawaneyesorebillboard.com

The SENTIMENTAL JOURNEYS blog has my opinions on pop culture advertising (print & TV commercial), classic TV shows, TV stars, politics & toys. Anything that could vaguely be classified as POP CULTURE, from the 1940s to the early 2000s, might be seen on my blog.

The I SAW AN EYESORE BILLBOARD is a photo blog, which has a few sentences/paragraphs of commentary.

I appreciate any consideration that you may wish to show.

Thank you very much for your time.

Ron Davison

P.S. I love that ad from Rockford. Do you know who made it?

I've heard it said (Steinbeck?) that cynics will never create anything of lasting value; you've got to have faith in something to do that.

This spot certainly talks to my experience of being the father of a child who was born under 4 lbs. and in the NICU for 10 days; a little miracle, indeed.

Like writing love poetry, it is very easy to make this kind of sentiment too, well, sentimental. But when it works, it really works. Thanks for sharing.

This is perhaps the only post I have ever agreed with you. Amen to 16 hour days (in my case, a woman in the biz, you can make that 18-20 hour days). Thanks, I needed this tonight (hour 17.5)

This is a lovely post and tribute to your mom. I am so sorry for what both of you went through, but also keenly aware of the powerful survivor you have obviously become.

How intricate the doll furniture is. I would have been over the moon with this stuff as a little girl.

Thanks for sharing these thoughts with us.
